Amazing to be right on the beach, so it was lovely to spend evenings walking along the beach and then just walking into the room afterwards without needing to drive anywhere. Room was very comfortable. We stayed in two different rooms when we were here, and the first was dark and on the first floor, but the second was closer to the water and on the second floor. It was much brighter and you could hear the waves when you went outside. Also, we saw sea turtles every day we were there and saw more sea turtles at the beach next to the hotel than on any other during our trip. Especially compared to some of the other options in the area, would definitely stay here again.

The grounds are stunning! Unbelievably serine. The entire resort is just so beautiful and CLEAN. I highly recommend eating at The Restaurant and having LYNN as your server; I would request her! We stayed one week and I could have stayed two. I loved our room. It was so nice that my husband could go in the next room and watch golf and I could take a nap. Very private.

The beach right out front was fantastic and perfect for all ages. The little grocery store was very convenient as well as the rental shop. The grounds were well maintained and I love all the plants and trees. I also liked that there were chairs available. The pool was the perfect temp. I look forward to staying again when the restaurant is complete. I also liked that there was access to the beach for locals. The laundry was very convenient as well.

The location was really great and we were in building A which had a beautiful view of the ocean. The facility was clean and extremely well supplied and stocked. I’ve never seen a rental condo so loaded with beach equipment and cooking supplies.I especially like the fact that I didn’t have to run out to get again by a salt and pepper to season my breakfast.

Be VERY CAREFUL when you book at the Mana Kai...
Be VERY CAREFUL when you book at the Mana Kai... The units are split into two: the "a" side overlooks the beach, has a lanai, seating area etc. This is the picture they will show you when you book. The "b" side is a very small hotel room with NO seating whatsoever, NO lanai, and overlooks the parking lot. You will have to keep the blinds closed the entire duration of your stay as anyone walking by can look right in. Booking .com confirmed the "a" side, and Vacasa booked me into the "b" side. I only discovered this a week before my stay and contacted them immediately. I refused to stay in this tiny claustrophobic room and had to make alternate arrangements at the last minute. They have, so far, refused to refund my money.

I have been staying here since it opened. Rented 3 rooms for our family. I think the BS resort fees charged today are simply rip off fees. As much as I love this property, and I can afford it, they have priced themselfs to high and I will not be returing again. I had requested rooms close, 2 were, and the 3rd was way off. Spending what I did they could and should have accommodated me. Much advanced notice. Remodel is nice and beds are much more comfortable now. Should have replaced the noisy corridor tile without the grout lines. Very loud when people move their suitcases.

We loved the area! Amazing beaches, restaurants, shopping, and family activities/outings - so much to chose from. The owners provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Wailea was a great beach. It is large with soft golden sand. It’s exactly like I picture a beach should be. It never got too crowded and there was a small store that sold drinks, shaved ice and snacks. We drove here two of the four beach days we had. We enjoyed the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili. Also enjoyed Kihei Caffe and ate quite a few breakfasts there. Also 808 Grindz Cafe in Lahaina. We always go to Warren & Annabelle's Magic (and comedy) Show also in Lahaina. We have our own copy of Maui Revealed and were pleased that the most recent edition was in the condo, best Hawaii travel book, imo. We went whale watching with PacWhale Eco-Adventures which was wonderful but I would not recommend them for the Molokini Crater snorkeling adventure as we saw so little fish. The Reveal book states NOT to go to the center of the crater and that's exactly where PacWhale took us. We took a side trip to La Perouse Bay where we understand Bezos has a property - lucky him! We also enjoy going on a Costco run on the Islands - what an adventure that is! We also made a run to Wailuki to purchase the best Banana Bread on the planet at Julia's Best Banana Bread. That's all folks and thank you for letting me share!

The owners really went above and beyond this is your “dream home away from home”. Both couches were pullout beds which I thought was very convenient. The deck/lanai looks right out to the pool which is like 100ft away. The microfiber pool towels provided were an excellent touch as the dried quick in the sun and in the dryer . Washer and dryer worked great! A/C was perfect. The remote control to operate the TV was not so intuitive but truly who watches TV while visiting Maui haha! Excellent location! Close to restaurants, shops and gas stations. Easy access to different roads when going on excursions. Also close to Wailea Beach. All in all, I highly recommend Aston Maui Hill.
